Backfill Tamper - VK 004
The VK 004 is a 19 kg backfill tamper, technically equivalent to the Chicago Pneumatic CP 004RV, and also known as a pogo stick or powder puff. It is the heavy version of the VK 003, with a 57 mm bore delivering 780 blows per minute on 13 l/s of air, for compacting deeper lifts and stiffer material around foundations and in trenches. A unique valve design lets dirt pass without stopping the tool, which matters on backfill work in dusty ground.
