PUSHER LEG – VK 51 (BMT 51)
The VK 51 is a 15 kg pneumatic pusher leg, technically equivalent to the Atlas Copco BMT 51, and is the feed leg for the BBC 16W and BBC 34W jackleg drills. It is built from high strength aluminium alloys developed for aerospace use, which is how it holds a 2,985 mm extended length at that weight. The 60 mm piston gives high feed force, it is double acting so it pushes out and pulls back in, and the feed controls sit where the operator's hand already is. Used in production drilling, mining, construction and the dimension stone industry.
