VK 30 Air Line Lubricator FAQs
Is the VK 30 a direct replacement for the Atlas Copco BLG 30?
Yes. The VK 30 is technically equivalent to the Atlas Copco BLG 30, part number 8202510240. It holds the same 1.3 litres of oil, takes the same 1" BSP connection and 25 mm hose bore, and is rated to 20 bar, so it fits the same place in the air line without an adapter.
Which air line lubricator size do I need?
This page is the VK 30, the 1.3 litre size. Three are manufactured: the VK 20 at 0.71 litres, the VK 30 at 1.3 litres and the VK 40 at 5 litres. The VK 30 is matched to a supply of 1.5 to 8.0 m3/min, which covers a single rock drill or breaker working a full shift between refills.

How much air will the VK 30 pass?
It is rated for 1.5 to 8.0 m3/min, or 53 to 282 cfm, at a maximum working pressure of 20 bar, through a 25 mm hose bore. A lubricator rated below the tool’s actual air consumption throttles the supply, so size it against the tool rather than against the hose.
