Pneumatic Cement Injection Pump VK-CIP

The VK-CIP is a 22 kg pneumatic cement injection pump built by Vikay Mining Equipments in India for underground mines, designed for cement grouts and water based binders where low volume and high pressure are needed. It runs on 90 to 100 cfm at 70 to 80 psig and will inject long holes from 3 to 20 metres at mixes from 1:0.33 to 1:2. Used for roof bolting and cable grouting, fully grouted bolts and anchors installed by pre grouting or post injection, ventilation control by spraying walls and prefabricated meshes, and grout injection for set props at pressures to 500 psi. It is light, portable and rugged enough for normal mine handling, and clears blockages easily. A grout mixer with two 75 litre drums, mixing blades, air motor and reduction gearbox is available.

Will my compressor run the VK-CIP?

The VK-CIP needs 90 to 100 cfm at 70 to 80 psig, delivered continuously. The compressor has to hold the figure under load, not merely reach it.

What grout mixes will the VK-CIP inject?

Mixes from 1:0.33 to 1:2, into holes from 3 to 20 metres, at pressures up to 500 psi for set props. It is made for cement grouts and water based binders where the volume is low and the pressure has to be high.

Is a grout mixer available with the VK-CIP?

Yes. A mixer with two 75 litre drums, mixing blades, an air motor and a reduction gearbox is supplied alongside the pump, so grout can be batched and injected from one setup at the face rather than carried in from elsewhere.
