Ventilation Fan VK-PVF16
The VK-PVF16 is a 25 kg pneumatic ventilation fan built by Vikay Mining Equipments in India for underground metal mines, gold mines, tunnels and shaft sinking. Its job is to clear blasting fumes quickly and deliver fresh air to the face, moving 82 cfm at 800 feet. The rotor is balanced to run at 4,000 rpm and runs on precision ball and roller bearings for long service life. Being air driven it needs no electrical supply underground.
