VK PL 250 Pusher Leg (A755A)
VK PL 250 Pusher Leg (A755A) is built by Vikay Mining Equipments in India and is technically equivalent to the Boart Longyear A755A Pusher Leg. It is used for the VK S250 and Boart Longyear S250 Jackleg Rock Drill. Spare parts for this machine are supplied to original specification. Contact Vikay for price and availability.
Pusher Leg - VK PL 250 ( 30 lb )
The VK PL 250 Pusher Leg weighs 13.6 kg and feeds 1,295 mm, extending from 1,727 mm retracted to 3,022 mm on a 68 mm piston. The weight is balanced so the operator can set and swing the leg without fighting it, and the controls sit in the VK S250 back head with push-button retraction, so there is no second valve to reach for. It works in the same narrow-vein mines as the drill it feeds, from Peru, Chile, Mexico and Bolivia to Indonesia, the Philippines and southern Africa. Parts interchange with the Boart Longyear A755A pusher leg.
Applications
Feed force for the VK S250 jackleg rock drill

VK PL 250 Pusher Leg FAQs
Which drills does it fit?
The VK S250 and the Boart Longyear S250 jackleg rock drill.
Where is the pusher leg used most?
Wherever the S250 drill works: hand-held underground drilling in narrow-vein metal mines and in tunnel and drift development, most commonly in Latin America - Peru, Chile, Mexico, Bolivia, Colombia and Ecuador - and in underground metal mines across Indonesia, the Philippines, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Ghana and Tanzania. The leg supplies the feed force for horizontal and inclined holes in confined headings, so the operator guides the drill instead of pushing it.
Is it interchangeable with the Boart Longyear A755A?
Yes. It is the technical equivalent of the A755A and its parts interchange.
How far does it extend?
From 1,727 mm retracted to 3,022 mm extended, with a 1,295 mm feed stroke, at 13.6 kg.
