VK 12FZ Pneumatic Drifter

The VK 12FZ is an 80 kg rifle bar rotated pneumatic drifter, technically equivalent to the Atlas Copco BBC 120FZ. It is the version built specifically for underground mining and tunnelling, for ring drilling and face drilling in 51 to 89 mm holes, and it is ten kilos heavier than the VK 12 for that duty. It uses 167 l/s of air through a 120 mm bore, with reversible rotation, a choice of air blowing or water flushing, and all drill functions operated from a control unit.
