VK 46 WR-8 - Stopper Drill
The VK 46 WR-8 is a 41 kg stopper drill, technically equivalent to the Atlas Copco BBD 46WR-8. Stoppers drill upward, and this one is configured with clockwise rotation for tightening nuts and roof bolting in underground mines. A short piston stroke gives high penetration rates in soft and medium hard rock, and it runs on 120 cfm of air. The 1,820 mm feed leg carries the machine against the back so the operator does not.
