VK 46 WS-8 - Stopper Drill
The VK 46 WS-8 is a 41 kg stopper drill, technically equivalent to the Atlas Copco BBD 46WS-8. It is the anti clockwise rotation version of the WR-8, used for production drilling, raise driving and roof bolting. The short piston stroke gives high penetration in soft to medium hard rock on 120 cfm of air, with a 1,820 mm feed leg holding the machine up to the face.
