Wagon Drill Top Hammer VK-PWDTH
The VK-PWDTH is a pneumatic wagon drill in top hammer configuration, built by Vikay Mining Equipments in India. It is a three wheel rubber tyred rig that replaces hand held drilling on production work in open cast mines and quarries, and takes a shortened mast for grouting and anchoring underground. The top hammer version carries the VK 12 pneumatic drifter with rifle bar rotation, drilling 48 to 76 mm holes to depths of 20 to 40 metres on 400 cfm at 7 bar. A conversion kit changes it to the down the hole version and back.
Optional – Conversion Kit to convert TH version to DTH Version and Vice-versa.
TH version (Top Hammer)
The TH version of is equipped with the robust Pneumatic Top Hammer with rifle bar rotation model VK-12 Pneumatic Drifter, well known for its simplicity and reliability. Suitable for hole sizes from 48 – 76 mm and depth up to 20 – 40 Meters.

Can the Vikay wagon drill be converted between top hammer and down the hole?
Yes. The same three wheel rubber tyred carrier takes either configuration and a conversion kit changes it from one to the other and back. This page is the top hammer configuration. The top hammer version carries the VK 12 drifter for 48 to 76 mm holes; the down the hole version carries the BBR-4 rotation motor for 85 to 130 mm holes.

Will my compressor run the VK-PWDTH?
